Job Title: Traffic Operations Supervisor

About the Role

We are looking for a skilled Traffic Operations Supervisor to oversee and optimize the traffic management activities within the Mangaung Metro area. This role requires exceptional organizational skills, attention to detail, and strong leadership capabilities.

Responsibilities:

Plan, direct, and evaluate traffic flow and road capacity to ensure efficient movement of vehicles
Supervise and coordinate the operations of traffic monitoring systems and street furniture maintenance
Collaborate with law enforcement agencies to develop and implement traffic safety programs
Analyze traffic data and propose improvements for traffic signal timing and road network efficiency
Manage and train a team of traffic control personnel

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Urban Planning, or related field
Proven experience in traffic engineering or related field
Strong knowledge of traffic management principles and regulations
Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities
Ability to communicate effectively and maintain effective working relationships
Valid driver's license
