Job Description:

As an Athletic Performance Analyst at American National Insurance Company, you will play a crucial role in leveraging groundbreaking technologies to optimize athletic performance and enhance player development. You will work closely with our partners in the sports industry, utilizing advanced data analytics and cutting-edge software tools to provide valuable insights.

Responsibilities:

Analyze and interpret sports performance data, including player statistics, biometrics, and game footage.
Develop comprehensive reports and presentations to communicate findings and recommendations to coaches, trainers, and management.
Collaborate with coaches and athletes to identify performance improvement opportunities and develop personalized training programs.
Apply statistical models and machine learning techniques to predict and optimize player performance.
Stay abreast of the latest industry trends and advancements in sports analytics technology.

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in a related field such as data science, statistics, or sports science. Master's degree preferred.
Proven experience in sports performance analysis or a related role.
Proficiency in statistical analysis software (e.g., R, Python) and data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI).
Strong knowledge of sports biomechanics and performance training.
Excellent communication skills, with the ability to present complex data in a clear and concise manner.
Driven, detail-oriented, and able to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
