Responsibilities:

Develop and execute strategies for reducing energy consumption and carbon footprint at various Michaels locations.
Conduct thorough environmental assessments to identify potential risks and recommend solutions.
Lead initiatives to promote recycling, waste reduction, and responsible resource management.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement sustainability programs and monitor their effectiveness.
Stay up-to-date with industry trends and regulatory requirements related to environmental conservation.
Educate and train team members on best practices for environmental sustainability.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Sustainability, or a related field.
Minimum of 3 years of experience in implementing sustainable practices in a corporate setting.
In-depth knowledge of energy conservation, waste reduction, and environmental regulations.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to assess and mitigate environmental risks.
Excellent communication and presentation skills to effectively advocate for environmental initiatives.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
