Position Overview:
As a Sustainable Materials Analyst at Wipf AG, you will play a key role in our research activities focused on advancing sustainability within the materials industry. In this position, you will be responsible for analyzing and evaluating various materials and their environmental impact. Your expertise will contribute to transforming our research into tangible advancements, ensuring that our company remains at the forefront of innovation in sustainable materials.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive research on materials used in different industries with a focus on environmental sustainability.
- Analyze the life cycle of materials, including extraction, production, transportation, usage, and eventual disposal.
- Evaluate the environmental impact of various materials and identify potential areas for improvement.
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to develop new sustainable materials and improve the sustainability of existing products.
- Stay up-to-date with emerging trends, technologies, and regulations related to sustainable materials.
- Prepare detailed reports and presentations on research findings.
- Participate in industry conferences and network with professionals to exchange knowledge and ideas.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of research processes and methodologies.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Materials Science, Chemistry, Environmental Science, or a related field.
- Proven experience in materials analysis, preferably within a research or laboratory setting.
- Deep understanding of sustainability concepts and their application in material development.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and draw meaningful conclusions.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in cross-functional teams and independently manage projects.
- Passion for environmental sustainability and dedication to social responsibility.
- Fluency in English, German language skills are a plus.
