We are looking for a passionate and committed individual to join our team at Durban Child Welfare Baby House as a Cultural Engagement Coordinator. This role centers around celebrating and integrating diverse cultural elements within our organization, promoting inclusivity and understanding among all team members and stakeholders.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement strategies to promote cultural diversity within the organization
- Organize cultural awareness workshops and events
- Collaborate with different departments to ensure cultural inclusivity in all activities
- Create content that celebrates multiculturalism across various media channels
- Engage with diverse communities to build strong relationships and partnerships
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Cultural Studies, Media, Sociology, or related field
- Proven experience in promoting diversity and inclusion initiatives
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong organizational and project management abilities
- Passionate about fostering multicultural environments
