At Akureyri Cultural Center, we believe in the power of cultural exchanges to bring people together, foster understanding, and create lasting memories. We are currently seeking talented individuals to join our diverse team in the Northeastern Region of Iceland.

Position: Cultural Exchange Ambassador

About the Role:

Create a welcoming and inclusive environment for visitors from around the world
Engage with customers to understand their interests, providing tailored recommendations for cultural experiences
Assist in organizing and promoting cultural events, workshops, and exhibitions
Collaborate with local businesses, artists, and organizations to enhance the cultural offerings

Requirements:

A passion for cultural diversity and a strong interest in arts, history, and different forms of expression
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Fluency in English and at least one additional language
Previous experience in customer service or hospitality is preferred
