Empathy Advocate and Community Engagement Specialist Position at Save the Children Finland
Save the Children Finland, based in the vibrant community of Pohjanmaa, is seeking a dedicated professional to join our team as an Empathy Advocate and Community Engagement Specialist.
Your Role:
We are looking for a passionate individual who will be responsible for fostering community relations, advocating for empathy-driven initiatives, and engaging with various stakeholders to promote our cause. The ideal candidate will be a strong communicator with excellent interpersonal skills and a deep understanding of community dynamics.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement community engagement strategies
- Collaborate with local partners to drive empathy-focused projects
- Organize and participate in events to raise awareness and support for children's rights
- Provide support and guidance to volunteers and advocates
- Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of community programs
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field
- Proven experience in community engagement or advocacy
- Excellent communication and networking skills
- Passion for promoting children's rights and well-being
- Fluency in Finnish and English
