Husavik Geothermal Power, located in the picturesque Northeastern Region of Iceland, is seeking a talented individual to fill the role of Regulatory Compliance Advisor.
Responsibilities:
- Monitor and ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements affecting our operations
- Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure legal compliance
- Offer expert guidance on laws and regulations related to geothermal power production
- Collaborate with various stakeholders to address regulatory issues effectively
- Conduct regular audits to assess compliance levels and suggest improvements
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Law, Business, or related field
- Proven experience in regulatory compliance or a similar role
- Strong understanding of legal frameworks and regulatory environments
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to communicate complex legal issues to stakeholders at all levels
