Position Available: Environmental Outreach Specialist
We are looking for an enthusiastic Environmental Outreach Specialist to help us develop and execute initiatives that raise awareness about our state's natural treasures and encourage responsible tourism practices. As part of our team, you will be at the forefront of promoting eco-friendly travel options and educating visitors on how to minimize their impact on the environment.
Responsibilities:
- Design and implement educational programs and workshops on sustainable travel
- Collaborate with local communities to support conservation efforts and promote eco-tourism
- Create engaging content to raise awareness about environmental issues and encourage ethical tourism
- Monitor and evaluate the impact of our programs on environmental conservation
- Engage with visitors to provide guidance on eco-conscious travel choices
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Tourism Management, or related field
- Passion for environmental conservation and sustainable tourism practices
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong project management abilities
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
