Kenya Institute for Public Policy Research and Analysis (KIPPRA) is currently seeking a talented individual to join our team in the role of a Strategic Communications Specialist. Job Description:
- Develop and implement innovative communication strategies to promote KIPPRA's research findings and policy recommendations
- Create engaging content for various platforms including social media, website, newsletters, and reports
- Cultivate relationships with media outlets, opinion leaders, and stakeholders to enhance KIPPRA's visibility and impact
- Organize events, workshops, and campaigns to raise awareness about KIPPRA's initiatives and policy insights
- Monitor and analyze communication metrics to evaluate the effectiveness of campaigns and optimize strategies
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, or a related field
- Proven experience in developing and implementing communication plans
- Excellent writing skills with the ability to craft compelling narratives
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to engage with a diverse range of stakeholders
- Knowledge of media landscape and emerging trends in communication
