Position: Wellness Coordinator

Are you passionate about promoting health and wellness? If so, we have the perfect opportunity for you! As a Wellness Coordinator, you will play a vital role in creating and implementing wellness initiatives within our schools. In this position, you will collaborate with teachers, staff, and parents to develop programs that foster a positive and active lifestyle.

Responsibilities:

Develop and implement wellness programs and initiatives for students and staff
Educate students on the importance of fitness, nutrition, and overall well-being
Collaborate with teachers to integrate physical activity into the curriculum
Organize and oversee sports events, intramural activities, and after-school clubs
Provide support and guidance to students interested in pursuing sports-related activities
Coordinate with local community organizations and fitness professionals
Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of wellness initiatives

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in a related field (e.g., Exercise Science, Nutrition, Public Health)
Experience in developing and implementing wellness programs
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to collaborate effectively with staff, students, and community partners
Passion for promoting health and wellness
Organizational and problem-solving abilities
