At Saskatchewan Blue Cross, we are committed to making a positive impact on the environment and the energy sector in Saskatchewan. We are currently seeking a motivated and knowledgeable individual to join our team as a Sustainability Specialist.

As a Sustainability Specialist, you will play a key role in developing and implementing sustainable practices within our organization. Your primary responsibilities will include:

Conducting environmental research and analysis to identify areas for improvement
Developing and implementing sustainability initiatives and strategies
Collaborating with internal teams to ensure sustainability goals are met
Monitoring and reporting on environmental performance metrics
Providing guidance and support to colleagues regarding sustainable practices

To be successful in this role, you should have a strong understanding of sustainability principles, environmental regulations, and energy conservation practices. Excellent analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills are essential.

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Sustainable Development, or a related field
Minimum of 3 years of experience in sustainability or a related field
Knowledge of environmental regulations and policies
Familiarity with energy conservation practices
Strong analytical and research skills
Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
Ability to work independently and collaborate with cross-functional teams
