We are Hiring: Legal Compliance Specialist
The Latin American Community Center in Delaware is seeking a dynamic and experienced individual to join our team as a Legal Compliance Specialist. We are dedicated to enhancing the well-being of Delaware's Latin American community through various programs and services, and we need a talented professional to ensure our operations are in compliance with all legal requirements.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct regular audits to assess compliance with local, state, and federal laws and regulations
- Review and update organizational policies and procedures to align with legal standards
- Provide guidance to staff on legal matters and compliance issues
- Collaborate with external legal counsel as needed
- Develop and deliver training programs on legal compliance
- Monitor changes in laws and regulations affecting our organization
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in a related field
- Proven experience in compliance, risk management, or a related area
- Strong understanding of legal requirements and standards
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to communicate effectively with diverse stakeholders
- Attention to detail and strong organizational skills
