Sustainable Agriculture Specialist

Arkansas Green Energy Collective is seeking a dedicated individual to join our team as a Sustainable Agriculture Specialist. In this role, you will be at the forefront of promoting ecologically responsible farming techniques and advancing sustainable agriculture in our community.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement sustainable farming practices that optimize crop yields while minimizing environmental impact
- Provide expertise on soil health, crop rotation, pest management, and irrigation systems
- Collaborate with local farmers to introduce sustainable methods and technologies
- Conduct research to improve agricultural productivity and sustainability
- Educate and train farmers on the benefits of sustainable agriculture
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Agriculture, Environmental Science, or related field
- Proven experience in sustainable agriculture practices
- Strong knowledge of farm management and ecosystem stewardship
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
