Pacific Power, a leading energy provider committed to sustainability practices and environmental stewardship, is seeking a dedicated individual to join our team in Oregon as an Environmental Compliance Specialist.
Responsibilities:
- Ensure compliance with state and federal environmental regulations impacting our operations.
- Review and assess company policies and practices to ensure alignment with environmental laws.
- Develop strategies for environmental risk management and mitigation.
- Collaborate with internal teams to implement environmentally responsible practices.
- Conduct environmental impact assessments and provide recommendations for improvement.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Engineering, or related field.
- 2+ years of experience in environmental compliance or similar roles.
- Strong knowledge of local and federal environmental regulations.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to communicate effectively and work collaboratively.
