Position Overview:
We are currently seeking a dynamic individual to serve as our Agriculture Ambassador, a key liaison between our region's rural communities and the world of tourism. In this role, you will engage with local farmers, artisan producers, and agricultural associations to showcase Sicily's diverse offerings.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement strategies to promote agritourism in the Trapani region
- Cultivate relationships with local farmers and producers to highlight their unique products
- Organize and lead agricultural tours and hands-on experiences for visitors
- Coordinate with marketing teams to showcase the agricultural richness of Sicily
- Participate in trade shows, events, and fairs to promote regional agriculture
Qualifications:
- A deep appreciation for Sicily's agricultural traditions and products
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Experience in agriculture, tourism, or related fields preferred
- Fluency in English and Italian; additional languages a plus
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Passion for sustainable agriculture and community development
