We are seeking a passionate and creative individual to join our team at Svalbard Kunstnerforening in Svalbard og Jan Mayen. We are looking for a Healthcare Designer to contribute to our innovative projects that focus on enhancing the well-being of individuals through artistic interventions.

Responsibilities:

Collaborate with healthcare professionals to design engaging and therapeutic artistic experiences that promote healing and relaxation.
Develop innovative visual concepts and designs tailored to healthcare settings, ensuring a balance of aesthetics and functionality.
Create artwork and installations that inspire positivity and uplift the spirits of patients and staff.
Conduct research on the impact of art in healthcare environments and implement evidence-based design strategies.
Stay updated on emerging trends in healthcare design and incorporate new technologies and materials into projects.

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Design, Fine Arts, or related field.
Proven experience in designing for healthcare spaces, with a strong portfolio showcasing your creative projects.
Understanding of the principles of art therapy and how art can benefit healthcare outcomes.
Proficiency in design software such as Adobe Creative Suite and knowledge of 3D modeling tools is a plus.
Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with interdisciplinary teams.
