Your Role:

As a Community Health Advocate, you will play a key role in fostering a culture of wellness and healthy living. You will collaborate with community organizations, healthcare providers, and individuals to raise awareness about the importance of preventive care, disease management, and overall well-being.

Responsibilities:

Develop and implement health promotion programs to address community health needs
Educate individuals and groups about preventive care and healthy lifestyle choices
Collaborate with local healthcare providers to coordinate health screenings and wellness events
Facilitate support groups and educational workshops on various health topics
Advocate for public policies that promote health equity and access to affordable healthcare
Participate in community outreach efforts to increase awareness of available resources
Measure and report the impact of community health initiatives

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in a related field, such as Public Health, Social Work, or Community Health
Prior experience in community health promotion or advocacy
Demonstrated knowledge of healthcare systems and public health principles
Strong communication and presentation skills
Ability to build and maintain relationships with diverse stakeholders
Passion for improving community health and well-being
Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
