The Vatnajokull National Park Foundation is calling upon passionate individuals to join our team as Adventure Experience Specialists in the captivating Eastern Region of Iceland. As an Adventure Experience Specialist, you will be an integral part of delivering remarkable excursions and activities that showcase the unparalleled beauty of our surroundings.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead outdoor activities such as guided tours, hikes, and wildlife observation in the Vatnajokull National Park region.
- Ensure visitors have an enriching and safe experience by providing expert guidance and assistance.
- Create and implement engaging itineraries that cater to diverse interests and abilities.
- Share knowledge about the park's natural resources, history, and conservation efforts with visitors.
- Maintain equipment, facilities, and trails to ensure a pristine environment for all guests.
Qualifications:
- Passion for the outdoors and a deep appreciation for nature's wonders.
- Previous experience in outdoor education, guiding, or wilderness survival is preferred.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to interact effectively with diverse groups of people.
- First Aid and CPR certification is desirable.
- Knowledge of the Eastern Region's geography, flora, and fauna is a plus.
