Job Title: Wildlife Habitat Restoration Specialist


Responsibilities:

  • Develop innovative strategies to restore and maintain wildlife habitats across Idaho.
  • Collaborate with government agencies, nonprofits, and local communities to implement sustainable wildlife management practices.
  • Conduct research, collect data, and analyze information to inform wildlife conservation efforts.
  • Design and execute projects focused on habitat improvement, ensuring the restoration of critical ecosystems.
  • Provide educational outreach to raise awareness about wildlife conservation and recreation opportunities.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in wildlife management techniques.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Ecology, Natural Resource Management, or related field.
  • Proven experience in wildlife habitat management or restoration projects.
  • Strong knowledge of Idaho's wildlife species, their habitat requirements, and potential threats.
  • Excellent communication skills to effectively engage with stakeholders and foster partnerships.
  • Ability to develop and implement innovative solutions to conservation challenges.
  • Comfortable working both independently and as part of a team, with a positive and energetic attitude.
