Adventure Piloting Supervisor

Namaqualand Horse Riding Adventures is seeking a passionate and skilled Adventure Piloting Supervisor to join our team in the heart of the Northern Cape, South Africa. If you are an aviation enthusiast with a love for adventure and a desire to inspire others, this position offers an exciting opportunity to lead a team of pilots in delivering unforgettable experiences in the breathtaking landscapes of Namaqualand.

Responsibilities:

Oversee all aspects of adventure piloting operations to ensure adherence to safety regulations, quality standards, and excellent customer service.
Lead and manage a team of pilots, providing guidance, training, and mentorship.
Coordinate with our customer service team to ensure smooth scheduling and execution of flights.
Maintain and monitor aircraft fleet to ensure optimal performance and safety.
Conduct regular safety inspections and provide ongoing training to pilots.
Develop and implement operational strategies to enhance efficiency and overall customer experience.
Ensure compliance with aviation regulations and company policies.
Resolve any customer concerns or complaints related to piloting operations.

Requirements:

Valid Commercial Pilot License (CPL) and instrument rating.
At least 5 years of experience in piloting, preferably with experience in scenic flights or similar adventure activities.
Previous experience in a supervisory or managerial role is highly desirable.
Strong leadership and communication skills.
Excellent knowledge of aviation safety regulations and procedures.
Ability to work well under pressure and make sound decisions in challenging situations.
Passion for adventure and the ability to inspire others to embrace it.
Flexibility to work irregular hours, including weekends and public holidays.
Valid driver's license and access to reliable transportation.
Fluency in English is required.
