Position: Regulatory Compliance Specialist

Your Responsibilities:

Ensuring compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and policies across various environmental domains
Advising internal departments on legal matters related to environmental protection and regulatory compliance
Conducting research on emerging legal and regulatory trends in environmental protection
Participating in the development and implementation of new policies, guidelines, and procedures
Collaborating with stakeholders to address legal hurdles and drive the development of new initiatives
Monitoring and evaluating compliance procedures and making recommendations for enhancements

Your Qualifications:

Strong background in environmental law, regulations, or related fields
Excellent understanding of the legal landscape surrounding environmental protection
Knowledge of international and national policies and conventions related to environmental sustainability
Ability to analyze complex legal requirements and provide concise interpretations
Experience in conducting legal research and producing high-quality written materials
Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, in English and Norwegian
Meticulous attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines
