Job Summary:
Delaware Department of Health and Social Services is seeking a passionate and customer-oriented individual to join our team as a Customer Experience Specialist. As a key member of our organization, you will play an instrumental role in providing exceptional service and maintaining a positive atmosphere for our customers. Although not directly referred to as Retail/Sales, this position shares similarities with the industry by focusing on delivering outstanding customer experiences.
Responsibilities:
- Interact with customers in a friendly and professional manner, ensuring their needs are met
- Assist customers with inquiries, provide accurate information, and address concerns
- Collaborate with team members to develop and maintain a supportive and cooperative work environment
- Maintain knowledge of products and services to effectively address customer inquiries
- Process customer transactions accurately and efficiently using our internal systems
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Prior experience in a customer-facing role preferred
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment
- Proficiency in using computer systems and software
- Flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends
