Position: Cancer Care Specialist

As a Cancer Care Specialist, you will be at the forefront of our mission, working closely with patients and their families to provide guidance, emotional support, and access to vital resources. Your role will involve:

Assessing individual needs of cancer patients and providing personalized care plans
Offering emotional support and counseling to patients and their families
Facilitating access to resources, such as support groups, financial assistance, and transportation services
Collaborating with healthcare professionals to ensure a comprehensive approach to patient care
Educating patients about treatment options, side effects, and coping mechanisms

Requirements

To succeed in this role, you should have:

A bachelor's degree in a healthcare-related field
Experience in direct patient care or counseling
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Empathy and the ability to establish rapport with patients
Knowledge of cancer treatments, resources, and support services
Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
