Position: Advanced Animal Care Technician
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with our research and development team to design and create advanced technological solutions that promote animal well-being
- Implement and maintain cutting-edge animal care systems and equipment
- Conduct experiments and tests to evaluate the effectiveness of new technologies
- Monitor and assess the physical and emotional health of animals using innovative data collection methods
- Develop protocols and guidelines for animal care that align with industry best practices and regulations
- Train and educate staff members on the use of new technologies and animal care techniques
- Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in the field and identify opportunities for continuous improvement
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field, such as Animal Science, Veterinary Medicine, or Biological Engineering
- Proven experience working with animals and a genuine interest in their well-being
- Strong technical skills in areas related to animal care technology
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced team environment
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Fluency in English; proficiency in Italian is a plus
