Position Overview:

As an Innovation Specialist, you will be part of a dynamic team responsible for discovering and developing unique experiences that showcase the beauty and cultural richness of Kansas. Your role will be to brainstorm, conceptualize, and implement innovative initiatives aimed at attracting tourists and creating unforgettable vacation experiences.

Responsibilities:

Research and identify potential tourism opportunities in Kansas
Collaborate with local businesses, community members, and government agencies to develop tourism products and destinations
Design creative marketing strategies to raise awareness of Kansas as a premier vacation destination
Organize and coordinate special events and activities to enhance the tourist experience
Stay up-to-date with industry trends and incorporate new technologies, such as virtual reality or augmented reality, into tourism experiences

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Hospitality, or a related field
Proven experience in project management and innovation
Knowledge of Kansas' geography, history, and cultural attractions
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work collaboratively and independently
