Responsibilities:

Develop and implement sustainable transportation strategies for Penske Truck Leasing in accordance with environmental regulations and company goals
Identify opportunities for reducing emissions and improving fuel efficiency in the transportation operations
Evaluate alternative fuels and technologies to reduce the environmental impact of our fleet
Collaborate with internal teams to optimize route planning, vehicle maintenance, and logistics to decrease fuel consumption
Monitor and report on key performance indicators to track progress towards sustainability targets
Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in sustainable transportation practices

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Transportation Management, or a related field
Strong understanding of environmental regulations and sustainability principles
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
Ability to effectively communicate ideas and initiatives to diverse stakeholders
Experience in project management and data analysis is highly desirable
Passion for environmental stewardship and a commitment to making a difference
