At The Intrepid Sea, Air & Space Museum, we are committed to making a positive impact on our environment and promoting social responsibility. We are currently seeking an Environmental Conservation Specialist to join our team.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement environmental conservation initiatives to reduce our carbon footprint and promote sustainability.
- Conduct research on best practices in environmental conservation and stay up-to-date with industry trends.
- Create and manage partnerships with local organizations and government agencies to collaborate on environmental projects.
- Educate staff, visitors, and the community about the importance of environmental conservation through workshops, presentations, and interactive exhibits.
- Monitor and analyze environmental data to assess the effectiveness of our conservation efforts.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Conservation, or a related field.
- Strong knowledge of environmental regulations and sustainability practices.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Passion for environmental conservation and a commitment to promoting social responsibility.
