About the Role

As the Sustainability Development Manager, you will play a crucial role in fostering sustainable practices within Montana's agricultural and rural sectors. You will have the opportunity to collaborate with industry stakeholders, government agencies, and local communities to develop and implement innovative strategies that promote environmental conservation and economic growth.

Your Responsibilities:

Lead the development and execution of sustainable agriculture initiatives across Montana
Build and maintain strong partnerships with farmers, ranchers, and landowners
Identify funding opportunities and write grant proposals to secure financial resources
Implement educational programs to enhance environmental stewardship
Facilitate community engagement and outreach initiatives to promote sustainable rural development

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in environmental science, natural resource management, or a related field
Proven experience in project management and partnership development
Expertise in sustainable agriculture practices and policies
Strong communication and leadership skills
Ability to work collaboratively and effectively engage diverse stakeholders
Understanding of the challenges and opportunities in rural communities
