At the National Trust for Places of Historic Interest or Natural Beauty, we have an exciting opportunity for passionate individuals to join our team. We are currently looking for dedicated professionals to be a part of our Wildlife Conservation Department, where you'll contribute to the preservation of our natural heritage.
Job Title: Biodiversity Preservation Specialist
About the Role:
- Conduct research and implement strategies to protect and conserve endangered wildlife in our historical sites and natural landscapes.
- Collaborate with other departments and external organizations to develop and implement biodiversity preservation initiatives.
- Monitor and analyze wildlife populations, habitat conditions, and ecosystem health to inform conservation efforts.
- Design and implement projects that promote habitat restoration and species reintroduction.
Requirements:
- A degree in Environmental Science, Ecology, or a related field.
- Proven experience in wildlife conservation projects or similar roles.
- Excellent knowledge of UK wildlife and ecological systems.
- Proficient in data analysis and ecological modeling.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration.
