Job Opportunity: Adventure Experience Facilitator

We are currently seeking an enthusiastic Adventure Experience Facilitator to join our team, someone who is a true explorer at heart and has a deep love for the natural beauty and cultural heritage of our region.

Responsibilities:

Design and lead exciting adventure tours and activities that showcase the best of Eastern Iceland
Ensure the safety and well-being of participants during all activities
Share knowledge about local history, geology, flora, and fauna to enhance the understanding and appreciation of our region
Create innovative educational programs that connect visitors with our natural and cultural resources
Collaborate with local businesses to develop partnerships and enhance the overall tourist experience in the region
Stay up-to-date with industry trends and develop new ideas to continuously improve our offerings

Qualifications:

Deep passion for outdoor activities and a strong understanding of the tourism industry in Iceland
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
Strong organizational and time management abilities
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Flexibility to work irregular hours, including weekends and holidays
Fluency in English is required, additional language skills are a plus
Valid driver's license
