Position: Animal Health Technician
We are currently seeking a highly skilled and passionate Animal Health Technician to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the health, hygiene, and overall welfare of animals under our care. Your technical expertise and compassionate approach will contribute to maintaining our high standards and advancing our industry reputation.
Responsibilities:
- Perform routine health checks and administer treatments to animals
- Assist veterinarians during examinations, surgeries, and procedures
- Maintain proper documentation of animal health records
- Monitor and ensure proper sanitation and cleanliness in animal facilities
- Handle and restrain animals safely and humanely
- Provide guidance and support to junior staff in animal care practices
Requirements:
- Proven experience as an Animal Health Technician or similar role
- Proficiency in animal handling and restraint techniques
- Familiarity with veterinary equipment and medical procedures
- Excellent observational and analytical skills
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow protocols
- Good physical stamina to handle various animal sizes and weights
- Effective communication and teamwork abilities
