Position Overview

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct in-depth research on agricultural trends, rural development policies, and sustainable practices.
  • Develop and implement strategic initiatives aimed at strengthening rural economies, improving infrastructure, and enhancing the quality of life in European rural areas.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders, including farmers, environmental organizations, and policymakers, to identify opportunities for growth and address challenges.
  • Evaluate and monitor the effectiveness of rural development programs and propose necessary adjustments.
  • Advocate for the interests and needs of rural communities at national and European levels.
  • Organize workshops, conferences, and educational campaigns to raise awareness about sustainable agriculture and rural development.

Requirements

  • A degree in a relevant field such as agriculture, rural development, or environmental sciences.
  • Prior experience in designing and implementing rural development projects.
  • Strong understanding of EU agricultural policies and rural development frameworks.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Proficiency in relevant software and data analysis tools.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a multicultural and multilingual environment.
