Position: Animal Welfare Consultant
Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments and provide expert advice on animal welfare regulations
- Collaborate with relevant stakeholders to develop policies for the protection and well-being of animals
- Implement and monitor compliance with animal welfare standards and legislation
- Research and stay up-to-date with best practices and emerging trends in animal welfare
- Deliver educational programs to promote responsible pet ownership and animal welfare awareness
- Investigate and respond to reports of cruelty or neglect towards animals
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in veterinary science, zoology, or a related field
- Profound knowledge of animal behavior, biology, and welfare
- Experience in developing and implementing animal welfare programs
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team
- Prior experience in conducting animal welfare assessments is preferred
