About the Role

As an AgriCulture Community Coordinator, you will play a key role in building partnerships, supporting farmers, and ensuring sustainable practices in the agriculture industry. This is a unique opportunity to contribute to the growth of the agriculture sector and make a positive impact on rural communities.

Responsibilities:

Develop and maintain relationships with local farmers, cooperatives, and agricultural organizations
Promote sustainable farming practices and provide guidance on environmental initiatives
Advocate for the interests of the agriculture community within the organization and to external stakeholders
Organize and facilitate workshops, training sessions, and community events to educate farmers on best practices and new technologies
Create and implement initiatives to attract and retain young individuals in the agriculture sector
Research and stay up to date with market trends, regulations, and emerging technologies in the agriculture industry
Collaborate with internal teams to develop and implement projects that positively impact agriculture and promote diversity
Measure and analyze the impact of initiatives on community engagement and agricultural development

Requirements:

Degree in Agricultural Sciences, Environmental Studies, or a related field
Prior experience in agriculture, rural development, or community engagement is desirable
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work collaboratively and independently
Strong organizational and project management abilities
Passion for sustainable development and multicultural understanding
