About the Role
As an AgriCulture Community Coordinator, you will play a key role in building partnerships, supporting farmers, and ensuring sustainable practices in the agriculture industry. This is a unique opportunity to contribute to the growth of the agriculture sector and make a positive impact on rural communities.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain relationships with local farmers, cooperatives, and agricultural organizations
- Promote sustainable farming practices and provide guidance on environmental initiatives
- Advocate for the interests of the agriculture community within the organization and to external stakeholders
- Organize and facilitate workshops, training sessions, and community events to educate farmers on best practices and new technologies
- Create and implement initiatives to attract and retain young individuals in the agriculture sector
- Research and stay up to date with market trends, regulations, and emerging technologies in the agriculture industry
- Collaborate with internal teams to develop and implement projects that positively impact agriculture and promote diversity
- Measure and analyze the impact of initiatives on community engagement and agricultural development
Requirements:
- Degree in Agricultural Sciences, Environmental Studies, or a related field
- Prior experience in agriculture, rural development, or community engagement is desirable
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work collaboratively and independently
- Strong organizational and project management abilities
- Passion for sustainable development and multicultural understanding
