At Nova Scotia Department of Transportation and Infrastructure Renewal, we are fostering an entrepreneurial mindset and embracing innovation in the Sports/Entertainment industry. We are seeking a dynamic and forward-thinking individual to join our team as an Innovation Manager.

Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage innovation initiatives within the department, driving change and implementing creative solutions to meet the evolving needs of the Sports/Entertainment sector.
- Collaborate with key stakeholders to identify emerging trends, technologies, and opportunities that can be leveraged to enhance our infrastructure.
- Develop and implement strategic plans to integrate innovative practices into the department's operations, ensuring continuous improvement and growth.
- Oversee the research and development of new projects, providing guidance and support to project teams.
- Evaluate and analyze data, market research, and industry reports to identify potential gaps and areas for improvement in the Sports/Entertainment landscape.
- Build and maintain partnerships with industry leaders, experts, and innovators to stay ahead of industry developments and foster collaboration.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field. A Master's degree is preferred.
- Proven experience in innovation management, ideally within the Sports/Entertainment industry or a related field.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make data-driven decisions.
- Excellent project management abilities, with a track record of successfully leading complex projects.
- Ability to think creatively and strategically, identifying and capitalizing on emerging trends and opportunities.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with stakeholders at all levels.
- Strong leadership qualities and the ability to inspire and motivate teams.
