At Nova Scotia Department of Transportation and Infrastructure Renewal, we are fostering an entrepreneurial mindset and embracing innovation in the Sports/Entertainment industry. We are seeking a dynamic and forward-thinking individual to join our team as an Innovation Manager.

Responsibilities:

Lead and manage innovation initiatives within the department, driving change and implementing creative solutions to meet the evolving needs of the Sports/Entertainment sector.
Collaborate with key stakeholders to identify emerging trends, technologies, and opportunities that can be leveraged to enhance our infrastructure.
Develop and implement strategic plans to integrate innovative practices into the department's operations, ensuring continuous improvement and growth.
Oversee the research and development of new projects, providing guidance and support to project teams.
Evaluate and analyze data, market research, and industry reports to identify potential gaps and areas for improvement in the Sports/Entertainment landscape.
Build and maintain partnerships with industry leaders, experts, and innovators to stay ahead of industry developments and foster collaboration.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field. A Master's degree is preferred.
Proven experience in innovation management, ideally within the Sports/Entertainment industry or a related field.
Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make data-driven decisions.
Excellent project management abilities, with a track record of successfully leading complex projects.
Ability to think creatively and strategically, identifying and capitalizing on emerging trends and opportunities.
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with stakeholders at all levels.
Strong leadership qualities and the ability to inspire and motivate teams.
