About the Position
As a Production Engineer at Southwest CDC, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our manufacturing processes. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to optimize production efficiency while maintaining the highest quality standards. Your responsibilities will include:
- Developing and implementing effective production strategies and manufacturing processes
- Identifying areas for process improvement and implementing cost-saving measures
- Collaborating with the design and engineering teams to ensure manufacturability and efficient product assembly
- Conducting time studies, capacity analysis, and productivity evaluations
- Ensuring compliance with safety guidelines and regulatory requirements
- Training and supporting production staff in executing manufacturing processes
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field
- 2+ years of experience in a manufacturing or production engineering role
- Strong technical knowledge of production processes and equipment
- Proficient in using CAD software and other relevant production tools
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
- Strong communication and collaboration abilities
