Responsibilities:

Develop and implement strategic communication plans to enhance the hospital's brand image and reputation
Create compelling content for various communication channels, including press releases, articles, website, social media, and internal communications
Manage media relations and proactively engage with journalists
Organize and coordinate press conferences, events, and interviews
Collaborate with different departments and stakeholders to gather information and ensure accurate messaging
Monitor media coverage and prepare reports on key communications metrics
Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in corporate communications

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in communications, public relations, journalism, or a related field
Proven experience in corporate communications, media relations, or public relations
Excellent written and verbal communication skills in both English and French
Strong understanding of media landscape and relationships with journalists
Proficient in using various communication tools, social media platforms, and content management systems
Ability to work independently, manage multiple projects, and meet deadlines
Detail-oriented with strong organizational and problem-solving skills
Adaptable and able to thrive in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment
