Job Description:

We are currently looking for a creative and talented individual to join our team at Kunstmuseum Luzern in Lucerne, Switzerland. As a Learning Experience Designer, you will have a pivotal role in shaping and enhancing the educational programs and training initiatives we offer. Your main responsibility will be to design innovative learning experiences that engage diverse audiences and promote a deep understanding and appreciation for art.

Responsibilities:

Lead the development and implementation of interactive workshops, guided tours, and educational materials to cater to various age groups and educational backgrounds.
Collaborate with our curators, educators, and artists to create engaging and immersive learning experiences.
Research current trends and best practices in education and interpretive design for museums.
Assess the effectiveness of our educational programs and make improvements based on feedback and evaluation.
Develop partnerships with local schools, universities, and community organizations to expand our reach.
Stay up-to-date with advancements in digital technology and incorporate them into our educational offerings.

Requirements:

A degree in Art History, Museum Studies, or a related field.
A passion for art and a deep understanding of art history and theory.
Proven experience designing and delivering educational programs or training.
Strong creativity and ability to think outside the box when developing learning experiences.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Proficiency in both written and spoken English. Knowledge of German is a plus.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team.
Flexibility to work on weekends and evenings, as required for events.
