Job Description:

We are currently seeking an enthusiastic Excursion Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for planning, organizing, and leading unique excursions that showcase the hidden gems of Hedesunda. Your primary goal will be to create exceptional travel experiences and inspire visitors to fall in love with our beautiful region.

Responsibilities:

Design and develop captivating excursion itineraries that highlight the best Hedesunda has to offer
Lead groups of visitors on tours, providing insightful commentary and ensuring an enjoyable experience
Coordinate with local attractions, businesses, and partners to arrange special activities and exclusive access for our guests
Create engaging and informative materials for visitors, including brochures, maps, and digital content
Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends and local attractions to continuously enhance the excursion experiences
Handle customer inquiries, provide recommendations, and assist with travel planning
Contribute to the marketing efforts of Hedesunda Hembygdsförening, promoting our excursions through various channels

Requirements:

Proven experience in the tourism or travel industry, showcasing an ability to create exceptional travel experiences
Deep knowledge and passion for Hedesunda's history, culture, and natural beauty
Excellent verbal communication skills with the ability to engage and entertain diverse groups of visitors
Strong organizational and time management skills to effectively plan and execute multiple excursions
Creativity and attention to detail in designing captivating itineraries that appeal to a wide range of travelers
Proficiency in English and Swedish, both written and spoken
Flexibility to work on weekends and holidays, as required
