Job Description:

As the Director of Environmental Advocacy, you will play a crucial role in shaping public opinion, raising awareness, and implementing initiatives that contribute to the preservation of our marine environment. You will be responsible for:

  • Developing and executing innovative communication strategies to educate the public about the importance of sustainable practices
  • Collaborating with local media outlets to increase coverage of environmental issues
  • Establishing partnerships with influential individuals and organizations in the field of conservation
  • Planning and organizing events to engage the public in environmental activities

Requirements:

To successfully fulfill this role, you should have:

  • A deep passion for environmental conservation and a strong belief in the power of media to drive positive change
  • A proven track record in creating impactful campaigns or initiatives in the field of conservation
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills to build partnerships and engage stakeholders
  • An understanding of the local culture and environmental challenges faced by the Balearic Islands
