Position: Environmental Stewardship Specialist

Job Description:

WESCO International, Inc. is seeking a passionate and knowledgeable Environmental Stewardship Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and implementing strategies to minimize our environmental footprint and promote sustainable practices.

Your Responsibilities:

Research and analyze environmental best practices within the agriculture sector to identify opportunities for improvement.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement sustainability initiatives.
Assess the environmental impact of our operations, products, and services, and recommend improvements.
Ensure compliance with environmental regulations and obtain necessary certifications.
Develop and conduct training programs to promote environmental awareness among employees.
Monitor and report on key sustainability performance indicators.
Stay up-to-date with emerging environmental trends and technologies to drive innovation.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Environmental Engineering, or a related field.
Minimum of 3 years of experience in environmental management or sustainability.
Strong knowledge of agricultural practices and their impact on the environment.
Familiarity with relevant environmental regulations and certifications.
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively in a team environment.
