Position: Precision Engineering Specialist
- Job Summary: As a Precision Engineering Specialist at SED, you will play a crucial role in advancing our precision measurement and instrumentation capabilities. Your expertise will contribute to the design, development, and maintenance of highly accurate and reliable seismic monitoring systems.
- Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to design and develop advanced precision measurement equipment for seismic analysis.
- Perform calibration, tuning, and quality assurance of seismic monitoring instruments.
- Conduct in-depth analysis of seismic data obtained from various monitoring systems.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to precision instrumentation.
- Collaborate with external partners to enhance our precision engineering capabilities.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of our data collection methods and instrumentation processes.
- Requirements:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering, preferably in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
- Proven experience in precision engineering or a related field, preferably in the manufacturing industry.
- Strong knowledge of precision measurement techniques and instrumentation principles.
- Proficiency in CAD software for design and analysis purposes.
- Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to effectively collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and external partners.
- Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities.
- Excellent communication skills in English. Knowledge of German is a plus.
