Position: Precision Engineering Specialist

Job Summary: As a Precision Engineering Specialist at SED, you will play a crucial role in advancing our precision measurement and instrumentation capabilities. Your expertise will contribute to the design, development, and maintenance of highly accurate and reliable seismic monitoring systems.
Responsibilities:

Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to design and develop advanced precision measurement equipment for seismic analysis.
Perform calibration, tuning, and quality assurance of seismic monitoring instruments.
Conduct in-depth analysis of seismic data obtained from various monitoring systems.
Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to precision instrumentation.
Collaborate with external partners to enhance our precision engineering capabilities.
Contribute to the continuous improvement of our data collection methods and instrumentation processes.

Requirements:

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering, preferably in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
Proven experience in precision engineering or a related field, preferably in the manufacturing industry.
Strong knowledge of precision measurement techniques and instrumentation principles.
Proficiency in CAD software for design and analysis purposes.
Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.
Ability to effectively collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and external partners.
Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities.
Excellent communication skills in English. Knowledge of German is a plus.
