Job Title: Craftsmanship Engineer

Job Description:

We are looking for a highly skilled and creative individual to assume the role of Craftsmanship Engineer at our community food bank. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing the design and production of various food manufacturing processes and equipment.

Responsibilities:

Developing innovative manufacturing processes to improve efficiency and productivity
Designing and constructing specialized equipment for food processing
Ensuring compliance with safety standards and regulatory requirements
Collaborating with suppliers and vendors to source quality materials
Providing technical support and training to the manufacturing team
Performing regular assessments to identify areas for improvement

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field
Proven experience in a similar role, preferably in the food industry
Strong knowledge of manufacturing principles and processes
Proficient in CAD software for equipment design and drafting
Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Good communication and interpersonal skills
Attention to detail and strong organizational abilities
