Job Description

We are currently looking for a passionate and dedicated Cultural Integration Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for promoting cultural diversity and inclusivity throughout the organization and enhancing our services to meet the needs of a multicultural community.

Your responsibilities will include:

Developing and implementing strategies to promote and enrich cultural diversity within the library
Organizing events, workshops, and programs that celebrate different cultures
Collaborating with various departments to ensure inclusive practices in our services
Designing and delivering training sessions on cultural competence for the library staff
Working closely with community organizations and partners to establish meaningful connections
Providing guidance and support to students and staff from diverse backgrounds
Monitoring and evaluating the effectiveness of our cultural integration initiatives

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you should meet the following qualifications:

Strong understanding of cultural diversity and the importance of inclusivity
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work collaboratively and build relationships with diverse stakeholders
Experience in organizing and facilitating cultural events or workshops
Knowledge of library services and resources is a plus
Fluency in both written and spoken English and Swedish
