Position: Pet Services Coordinator

About the Role:

Manage and oversee the coordination of pet services within the port
Develop and implement innovative strategies to enhance the handling and transportation of pets
Ensure compliance with local and international regulations related to pet transportation
Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to deliver exceptional pet services

Responsibilities:

Coordinate the arrival and departure of pets, ensuring their safety and wellbeing
Oversee the proper handling and transportation of pets, including documentation and customs clearance processes
Develop and maintain relationships with pet owners, veterinarians, and relevant organizations
Implement health and safety protocols to guarantee the welfare of pets during their journey
Stay updated on industry trends and regulations to identify opportunities for improvement

Requirements:

Previous experience in a similar coordination role within the transportation or logistics industry
Passionate about animals and familiar with their welfare requirements
Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
Ability to work well under pressure and manage multiple tasks
Fluency in English and French
