Job Description

As a Sustainable Agriculture Specialist, you will play a vital role in advancing our mission of integrating sustainable agricultural practices into our museum's operations and surrounding areas. You will be responsible for:

Developing and implementing sustainable farming techniques that minimize environmental impact
Evaluating and improving soil quality and biodiversity through organic farming methods
Coordinating with local farmers to promote sustainable agriculture and create awareness in the community
Designing and organizing educational programs and workshops on sustainable farming for visitors and the local population
Conducting research on innovative agricultural technologies and practices
Collaborating with other museum departments to incorporate sustainable food production into our exhibitions and events

Requirements

A degree in Agriculture, Environmental Science, or a related field
Proven experience in sustainable farming practices and knowledge of organic certification standards
Strong understanding of soil conservation and biodiversity preservation
Excellent communication and presentation skills
Passion for environmental sustainability and a strong sense of social responsibility
Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team
Innovative mindset and the ability to stay updated with the latest advancements in sustainable agriculture
Fluency in Italian and English
