The Genoa Urban Gardening Collective is seeking a highly dedicated and professional individual with a passion for plant care to join our team as a Professional Plant Care Specialist. As an organization committed to promoting the health and well-being of our community through urban gardening, we strive to maintain a high level of professionalism and expertise.

Through our extensive network of gardens and parks, we aim to improve the overall quality of life for our residents.

Responsibilities:

Assessing and monitoring the health of plants within our urban gardens
Developing and implementing plant care plans to ensure their vitality and growth
Identifying and addressing any pests, diseases, or other plant-related issues
Providing expert advice and recommendations on plant selection and maintenance
Educating and training community members on plant care techniques

Requirements:

Proven experience working with plants in an urban gardening or related setting
Strong knowledge of plant care, including irrigation, fertilization, and pest control
Understanding of sustainable gardening practices
Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills
Strong communication and interpersonal abilities
Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team
Passion for promoting the benefits of urban gardening and green spaces
