Sandhills Community College is seeking a talented individual to join our team as a Multicultural Outreach Specialist. In this role, you will play a key part in our commitment to celebrating diversity and fostering inclusivity within the field of Agriculture/Rural.

Responsibilities:

Develop and implement outreach strategies to engage multicultural communities in the field of Agriculture/Rural.
Collaborate with various organizations to promote diversity and inclusion initiatives within the industry.
Create and deliver presentations, workshops, and events to raise awareness and educate multicultural audiences about the opportunities in Agriculture/Rural.
Establish and maintain relationships with community leaders, local businesses, and educational institutions to enhance multicultural engagement and partnerships.
Track and analyze data to measure the effectiveness of outreach efforts and recommend improvements where necessary.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent practical experience.
Strong passion for diversity, equity, and inclusion, with the ability to effectively advocate for these values.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to engage and connect with individuals from diverse backgrounds.
Experience in implementing outreach strategies, organizing events, and delivering presentations.
Knowledge of the Agriculture/Rural industry and its potential for multicultural participation.
Proficient in data collection, analysis, and reporting.
