About the Role

As an Innovation Catalyst, you will play a pivotal role in bridging the gap between academia, industry, and the agricultural sector to drive innovation and sustainable development. Your responsibilities will include:

Conducting research and analysis on emerging agricultural trends, technologies, and practices
Identifying opportunities for collaboration with relevant stakeholders, such as farmers, industry professionals, and policymakers
Developing and implementing innovative strategies and initiatives to enhance productivity, efficiency, and sustainability in the agricultural sector
Generating ideas for new projects, programs, and partnerships that align with the school's mission
Mentoring and supporting students and researchers in their pursuit of innovative solutions in agriculture

Requirements

To excel in this role, we are looking for candidates with:

A strong academic background in a relevant field (e.g., agronomy, agricultural economics, sustainable agriculture)
Demonstrated expertise in agricultural innovation, such as experience with precision agriculture, smart farming, or circular farming
An entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to identify and seize opportunities
Excellent communication and collaboration skills to engage with internal and external stakeholders
A passion for sustainability and a commitment to driving positive change in the agricultural sector
